About Our Guest
"In my career I’ve held operating roles in technology driven businesses ranging from B2B hardware, enterprise storage, software, to materials and coatings. I’ve used my entrepreneurial experience to create and grow programs that support early stage teams that are creating innovation driven companies.
I am currently a Lecturer at MIT in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering. I am also the co-founder and Managing Director of the MIT Sports Lab (formerly STE@M), where we work with industry leaders to tackle the challenges that lie at the intersection of engineering and sports. I also serve as an advisor to multiple sport tech startups, including Sports Innovation Lab, AvaTech, Perch, Sports Data Lab, Jolt Sensor, Humon and Ashton Instruments.
I teach the largest undergraduate entrepreneurship class at the MIT School of Engineering, as well as the sports technology class. Prior to this I was a Lecturer and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, where I helped hundreds of teams from across MIT go from concept to company."
